St. Louis CITY Soccer Club posted one of the best seasons ever by an expansion team in any U.S. pro sports league in 2023. The team set numerous Major League Soccer records, sold out every home match, and became the league’s first-ever expansion team to win a regular-season conference championship. Reedy Press author Dave Lange and St. Louis CITY SC play-by-play announcer Joey Zanaboni will discuss St. Louis CITY’s record-breaking first season covered in the new book, “Year One: St. Louis CITY SC,” at the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library. Book-signing and book sales will follow the presentation. Doors open at 5 p.m. and presentation begins at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
