Learn about the history of soccer in Carondelet and St. Louis from Dave Lange and Jim Leeker at the Carondelet Historical Society. Lange is author of Soccer Made in St. Louis: A History of the Game in America's First Soccer Capital from Reedy Press. Leeker is president of the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame and veteran of the Carondelet Sunday Morning Athletic Club. Book sales and signing will follow the presentation. Proceeds will benefit the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame. Doors open at 1 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
