Reedy Press author Dave Lange will sign copies of “Year One: St. Louis CITY SC,” as part of the 100th Anniversary Local Author Book Fair at the Kirkwood Public Library. Written by Lange with a foreword from St. Louis CITY play-by-play announcer Joey Zanaboni, the book chronicles the team’s record-setting 2023 season. St. Louis CITY Soccer Club posted one of the best seasons by an expansion team in any U.S. pro sports league in 2023. The team set numerous Major League Soccer records, sold out every home match, and became the league’s first-ever expansion team to win a regular-season conference championship. This event is free and open to the public.
