St. Louis-based Centene Corp. signs “one of the biggest naming rights agreements in MLS:” a 15-year stadium naming rights deal with St. Louis City Soccer Club said to total at least $75 million, according to the Sports Business Journal. The deal calls for the team’s new 22,500-seat facility to be named Centene Stadium. Just eight months later, Centene will back out, and the stadium’s name will change to CityPark. The stadium becomes Energizer Park on Jan. 1, 2025, after Energizer Holdings acquires naming rights to the facility.
