Tim Ream becomes the first St. Louisan to play in a Premier League match. Ream, signed by Bolton from the MLS New York Red Bulls on Jan. 26, 2012, plays the entire match at left center back in a 3-0 loss at Chelsea. Ream also will play in the Premier League with Fulham. He will enjoy his best season in 2022-23 at age 35. He will play every minute for the United States in the 2022 World Cup and will be a starter and team captain at Fulham.
