Cor Jesu Academy’s Maddie DiMaria becomes the first freshman to win the Gatorade National Girls Soccer Player of the Year Award. She amasses 30 goals and 21 assists as Cor Jesu compiles a 21-4 record en route to the Missouri Class 3 state championship. She scores two goals and assists on another in Cor Jesu’s 3-0 victory over Rockwood Summit in the state championship game. Her performance during the 2024 season earns the Missouri Soccer Coaches Association’s Class 3 Player of the Year Award. DiMaria is a member of the U-16 U.S. Women’s National Team and is rated the nation’s No. 1 recruit for the class of 2027 by prepsoccer.com.
